Do you see TAC, Workcover or DVA patients?

Yes we do, but please note you will need to pay the full fee for your consultation following the appointment and claim back from TAC, Workcover or DVA personally. As we are a private clinic, there may be a gap in the refund that you receive back.

Should I arrive early for my appointment? What do I need to bring?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment to complete a short new patient form. If you have any relevant paperwork, such as scans, referrals, or clinical notes, please bring these as they help your practitioner provide the best care. Performe offers free parking for your convenience, ensuring easy access to our clinic. If you’re unsure what to bring, feel free to contact us for assistance.

Do I need to make a referral to make an appointment?

Our services are open to everyone, and you can book directly through our website or by contacting us. However, appointments for our Sports and Exercise Consultants and Orthopaedic Surgeons will require a GP referral. We strive to make the process simple and accessible for all clients.

What are the benefits of Whole-Body Cryotherapy?

Whole Body Cryotherapy reduces inflammation, speeds up muscle recovery, improves circulation, and can help with pain management. It may also have the effect of boosted mood and energy due to the hormonal changes experienced during treatment.

Who should avoid Whole-Body Cryotherapy?

Because it involves exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures (typically between -110°C and -130°C) for a short period, those with conditions such as hypertension, heart conditions, Raynaud’s disease, or those who are pregnant should consult a doctor first.

What is the difference between Whole Body Cryotherapy and Spot Cryotherapy?

Spot cryotherapy targets specific areas (e.g., knee, shoulder) rather than exposing the whole body. A practitioner uses a handheld device to apply a supercooled stream of nitrogen gas to the affected area which assists in pain relief, reduced swelling and inflammation, and is safe to perform over cuts and abrasions.

How does hyperbaric oxygen therapy work?

Our Aipod chamber increases oxygen delivery to tissues by placing you in a pressurized chamber with higher oxygen levels. Treatments typically last between 30-60 minutes and are effective in aiding tissue recovery, wound healing and post surgical trauma.

Tim Cole gave my daughter Madison a new life with his guidance on knee injury recovery, she was devastated with a surgeons opinion of her injury and Tim and the team at Performe were fantastic with her. 100% recommended.

Lachie is not just a brilliant physio but also an awesome person. I mean how many other medical professionals would ensure that my toddler is happy while I’m on the treatment bed to the point that my son asked ‘when are we going to play at Lachie’s next?!’ Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.
Julie Townrow
If you’re serious about performing at an elite level, your body needs regular maintenance to work or you want to return to your peak after an injury, than make your appointment with Lachie now, I promise you won’t regret your decision. I’ve been seeing Lachie for 16 years, for injuries sustained either during high performance sport or tactical policing with the Critical Incident Response Team; injuries include back surgeries, joint reconstructions, rehab post arthroscopes, carpel tunnel rehab, & plenty of soft tissue injuries. I trust his care implicitly, so much so that he treats my entire family, including members of my family who have 40 years or medical expertise and aren’t easily impressed - but with Lachie they are. We can’t thank Lachie enough for his care, compassion, guidance and friendship over that time and know he will look after you as well as he has us. The only thing to be wary of is that he will fix you and then you’ll be right to return to your chosen sport or profession without issue, so you won’t be able to blame your injury for not getting back to the level you were before!

Jacqui is amazing. Very friendly and down to earth, highly professional. Straight shooter who has worked with some of the very best. The reception team are efficient, professional and friendly too. I can’t recommend Performe highly enough.
Joel Pearce
I go see lauchlan fooks to help with a couple of sports injuries (hip and knee) and a few office worker / desk injuriesc (stiff neck) when they flare up and he sorts me out every time. He's such a pro. His new set up here is awesome. And I love having access to quality float and cryo too at the same place too. Such a bonus.
Ed Tiplady
I've been seeing Lachlan for well over 10 years. He is the ultimate professional who has managed to fix me up from every single injury. Whether it be from my ambition outweighing my ability on the sporting field, to various other misadventures off field..... He has endless knowledge and the perfect demeanor 10/10!
